Richard
Crammer
When I was a child I always loved lying down in the woods and imagining
that I was as small as a mouse, walking through a forest of flowers
and plants. I am trying to reflect this dreaming in my drawings and
promote a reverential regard for even the smallest natural areas.
Richard Crammer, a charter member of Project Art for Nature, passed away on Thursday, 13 November 2008. Richard's exquisite graphite drawings, and more recently, his pastel and acrylic paintings, were a much-admired feature in PAN shows. We will miss him tremendously.
A celebration of Richard's life will be held on Monday, November 17 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4343 Nicollet Ave S, Mpls. Visitation will be from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. There will be a reception following the celebration.
Friends and family and encouraged to share stories of Richard's life during the celebration.
A show of Richard's artworks will be on display in January 2009 at the Bell Museum of Natural History. Please check this website soon for details and reception date.
